Bowlathon

Cedric Stole the Cup. DJs and fans
turned up at the first annual Involved
DJ Bowlathon. Cedric Cervais said he
beat Sharam of Deep Dish to claim
the Cup.

The Real Winner was Oscar G.
Unfortunately the Involved Cup had
already been presented to Cedric on
the Terrace at Space later the
next morning during the Sasha
and Digweed gig (see WMC VIPs).

Oscar G got his reward when he
played Space Miami. Cedric had kept
the Cup well polished and swears
next years it's going to be his. (go to

Top WMC excuse for excess. A double
win for Oscar G who said he put so
much effort in to his bowling that he
buggered his back and had to spend
the next 3 days in bed.

Of course. We all believe you Oscar.
Perhaps that’s why Ritchie Hawtin
fell over in Nocturnal? Too much
bowling.

Local Bowlathons. So lets do them in

Going International. Pete Tong said
it was one of the highlights of his
WMC 2006 during an interview with
Sasha on his BBC Essential Mix
program April 21st A global
competition with world finals at

Thanks for the Money. To all the DJs
and fans who made the Bowalthon such
a success. And especially to Louis Puig,
Space Miami and Andy Horsfield, Global
Underground whose support was
such a help.

The money raised at the Bowlathon
has been added to the money from the
VIP WMC packages and donated to the
George Harrison Fund for UNICEF.

Sporting DJs 2007. Ok why stop at
bowling? Already suggestions are in
for other ‘sports’ – beach volley ball,
soccer, tug of war - they all want iron
man Carl Cox as the anchor man
